Empirical Research on Economic Development and Environmental Conservation

Scroll

Message

What kind of policies are needed to achieve economic growth and environmental conservation? Do new technologies improve people’s welfare and alleviate poverty? How can we diffuse appropriate technologies in developing countries? Furthermore, how can people in developed countries become involved with development and environmental conservation in developing countries?

By providing empirical evidence using modern econometric methods, Takahashi Laboratory aims to address these questions and derive policy implications for the developing world.
